Just wanted to correct a few statements about the connection between Iraq and UBL. The 9/11 commission found no direct connection, but they did find that UBL had met with Saddam and his operatives. Furthermore, UBL's right hand man Al Zaqarwi was being given refuge by Saddam and his loyalists in Baghdad.

Another point I would like to make is that investigations into the U.N. Oil for Food scandal have already turned up bribery and corruption between high ranking French and Iraqi officials. Investigators have found that French officials accepted bribes in assurances that France would not back our plans in Iraq. I have yet to hear leaders of the Democratic party speak out about this scandal. In my opinion, this is disastrous for John Kerry and his plan to build a global coalition, which would include the French.

By the way this investigation was conducted by the same non-partisan group that found there to be no WMD's.

Tossing aside a plea agreement that called for probation, Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Michael B. Brennan sentenced four Democratic Party workers to jail Wednesday for slashing tires on 25 vans rented by Republicans to take voters to polls for the 2004 presidential election.
