Group of Democrats resort to scare tactics
In 2000, there were radio commercials running in St. Louis that if Bush is elected, black churches will burn? AP: "The Missouri's Republican Party wants a Democrat-aligned group to stop circulating a get out vote flier that includes a 1960s photograph of a firefighter hosing a black man that reads, 'This is what they used to do to keep us from voting.'" This is the group America Coming Together, which is George Soros' group with Hillary Clinton. "The Americans Coming Together handout accuses Republicans of conspiring to suppress the black vote through intimidation and such tactics as putting phony cops at polling places but only in African-American neighborhoods. 'They make African-American voters stand in line for hours and they turn them away from the polls,' the flier reads.
"'Now John Ashcroft is trying to prevent African-Americans from registering to vote at all,'" and they have a picture of a black guy being hosed by a fireman from the 1960s. The latest from the NAACP or Americans Coming Together, whoever, in Missouri as they attempt to do something here. I tell you, folks, like I said at the top of the program: This is sheer desperation. This is panic city. Their guy has never led in the polls. It's not going in the right direction for 'em. Bush is on message and looking forward, and all these people can do is drum up fear and hatred. Can't even get a vote out. In fact, in fact, there's a story later on I'll get to here in the Stack of Stuff where some black voters are upset Kerry has not come through on the domestic agenda and not happy with this. He was given a warning some time ago by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation or Forum, whatever they call themselves out there, and apparently Kerry hasn't listened. This is getting out of hand. When will liberals realize that Bush has given more African-American's positions in his cabinet than any other American President. Campaigns like these will only swing undecided voters to the Bush side. |
Both sides use scare tactics. Bush uses the war on terrorism. Bush pretends he is the only canidate that can help us fight it which is just silly.

Kerry has said that his test for whether or not the US will respond to a threat is to ask the world what it thinks -- which I'm sure France would have a say in that since they're on the U.N. Security Council. Therefore, we must seek the approval of France to defend ourselves if Kerry's elected. I don't think that's a huge stretch. |

Of course many people leave that part out in order to spin the statement.... |
Just wanted to correct a few statements about the connection between Iraq and UBL. The 9/11 commission found no direct connection, but they did find that UBL had met with Saddam and his operatives. Furthermore, UBL's right hand man Al Zaqarwi was being given refuge by Saddam and his loyalists in Baghdad.
Another point I would like to make is that investigations into the U.N. Oil for Food scandal have already turned up bribery and corruption between high ranking French and Iraqi officials. Investigators have found that French officials accepted bribes in assurances that France would not back our plans in Iraq. I have yet to hear leaders of the Democratic party speak out about this scandal. In my opinion, this is disastrous for John Kerry and his plan to build a global coalition, which would include the French. By the way this investigation was conducted by the same non-partisan group that found there to be no WMD's. |
Tossing aside a plea agreement that called for probation, Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Michael B. Brennan sentenced four Democratic Party workers to jail Wednesday for slashing tires on 25 vans rented by Republicans to take voters to polls for the 2004 presidential election.

I just wonder when Democtrats and Republicans became a difference as individuals when the put on the mantle of Congress People?
Since Democrats won congress, they were going to be kinder and work with Republicans. Well, I guess we can see how that worked out so well. |
