Our city council has a Sweetheart gala where I and the other sweethearts will be honored. I also prepare the ballots for Woman of the Year, Man of the Year, Pledge of the Year (if there is one--but I'm the only pledge in my chapter this time 'round)
So I get dinner and a gift and all sorts of neat goodies.
