What I like to most about Sigma Gamma Rho is that my sorors have true hood (not just in the sense of sisterhood, but truely having my back no matter what!)
When I was a neo (almost 5 months old) me and 2 of my sands decided to step in this show in AZ cause our chapter was new and we needed money! So anyway the night that we're leaving, I go to the atm to get some money to pitch in on gas and found out that my account was NEGATIVE $250! I couldnt back out the show, cause the chapter was really counting on us winning and bring back the $1000, well to make a long story short... i had a place to stay, food in my belly, transportation, you name it!
And I had never met these sorors a day in my life, but they took care of me and my sands!
