I'm not really one for "blind dates" but if someone wants to "introduce" you to someone in a setting where everyone is around with "no major expectations" then that is okay. That's how I met my current boyfriend
My sorority sister wanted to introduce us for the longest but it never worked due to conflicts in our schedules. He came to my graduation party and initially, we didn't like each other, but as we continued to hang out at mutual parties and events and stuff, I guess, the rest you can say is history.
