Well I met with the Lexington chapter. I liked everyone I met. everyone was so friendly! I even unknowlingly met someone from my bible study group there that I didnt know was a member of Beta Sigma Phi
I did feel out of place a lil bit at first because with the exception of the chapter president, everyone was married with children---and I'm neither of those things. However they did tell me that meetings or get togethers where the whole family is invited is not something that is often. I plan to meet with them again at a legends baseball game on Aug. 14th and see how that is without the hubby's and the kiddies. they invited me to a dinner outing tonight but I am not able to attend due to the short notice and a previous engagement.
I've also been invited to attend a Bunko party/gettogether with the chapter in louisville on Aug. 15th. This is a younger and newly formed group than the Lexington chapter. I'm planning on meeting with both groups 2 or 3 times to get a feel before I choose which one I like the best. I have been talking to the president of this group online and we do seem to have or experiencing the same things presently(inparticularly with stupid guys). I'm excited to meet this group.
