As for the DC chapters in the area. Georgetown (Mu Alpha) & Maryland-College Park (Epsilon Mu) have fairly good contacts with their alumni. Mu Alpha regularly has alumni from hundreds of miles away come for initiation weekend (
www.mualpha.org). George Washington (Theta Chi) has been spotty (down to a few or none a couple times over the last 15 years, but came back) so any alumni of the chapter would help with Continuity. Catholic, AU & Howard are all recent (last decade) returns after long time inactive and George Mason U is about 10 years old.
