I haven't been to church in ages but not everyone totally dresses up. I have seen people there in jeans and tshirts but it is a church in upstate NY where people dress like that to go out to a nice restaurant, that's the lifestyle there.
Last time I went to a religious service was last fall when I went to a synagogue with my ex for his holiday. I dressed very conservatively for that, knee length skirt and tights and a 3/4 inch sleeve shirt.
When I was younger I could see wanting to wear my letters but now that I am older I would definately dress more conservatively.
