Tom maybe to YOU, church is passe but it isn't to me and to many others who are replying to this thread. I find the statement offensive as if you are saying that those of us who choose to ACT our beliefs by attending worship are wasting our time.
Would I wear letters? NO but I wouldn't wear jeans either. It has only been since I moved to Texas that I'd wear pants. To me it is showing respect that I dress up... or at least don't look like a barely rolled out of bed. No to be like an old fuddy-duddy, but church services is not the place to wear clubbing clothes (especially in Texas where the A/C is set for men in suits)
I have worn my pin to church and wear my arrow lavalier more often.
