I'll concede that. It really doesn't justify the response of some folks though. They were intentionally rude. I think greencup is just misinformed. The "buying your friends" thing was a little harsh I agree. However, I once believed the same crap. I was given a unique opportunity and was able to see that my views were wrong.
I find it regrettable that people choose to act in this way when given the opportunity to correct a misinformed person.
