it depends. I am very good at spotting fakes, but in the city (as in NYC) you can find nearly identical fakes on the streets. I have a $50 fake LV that is identical in every way to my mother's real one-- except for the inside. Which no one sees. But my aunt has a fake LV that is obvious-- the LV logo is much bigger, the pattern is of whack, and the color is off.
However, its annoying seeing the fake "G"s on fake Coach bags. They aren't so ridiculously expensive that you should need to buy a fake--- and its OBVIOUS its a fake with Gs, when the Coach logo is a C!
