i thought that is what it was. there is a term for it that i cannot remember. my sister has it in her VW. it is an automatic, but you can move the gear over to this other setting. it is nothing major. perfect for people who cannot drive a stick. instead of 'gear 1,2,3,4,5,R' there is symbol '+' for higher gear and '-' for lower gear. it is really cool
