It is a GREAT family reunion when....
There are deviled eggs on an appropriate plate. Deviled eggs are the only food that is appropriate for weddings, funerals, AND family reunions!
My momma makes green beans with fatback, "sweet tea," country fried ham, "co-cola" ham, taters au gratin, and angel biscuits...
When I get to see all of the older family members and listen to their stories. Each year more of the older generation seems to go on before us.
We get to play the annual family football game in the cow pasture, and only the "married-in" guy from up North gets hurt when he slides in a cow pile.
Good grief. You are in a COW PASTURE! It is like life and taxes; if you don't watch where you step, you are going to be covered in it!
I love family reunions...usually attend 3 or 4 a year!
