Well if you enjoy Homecoming so much, I suggest that next fall you come visit my lovely school as it is the place where Homecoming was originally founded. Homecoming at Mizzou is absolutely out of control, and some people think it's a little ridiculous but if you enjoy homecoming I am sure you would love how we do it around here.
I don't necessarily consider it a holiday, but the week of Homecoming classes kind of get overlooked b/c there is so much going on and soooo much left to do so it might as well be a holiday since no one goes to classes anyway.
