Be careful if you do the braids because if you make too many, you will have scary crimps instead of waves.

I use Curl Catalyst by Back to Basics. It's a gel as opposed to a mousse or spray so it won't dry your hair out. Oh, and let your hair air dry as much as possible, and for the blow drying you do have to do, use a diffuser.
