He lost it playing with one of our other dogs. At first, we thought he'd been bitten by the dog. Then, we realized it was the result of the dog's claw hitting his eye. He's great now, though.
As far as the housetraining, it takes a while with pugs. You just have to force them to go for a walk or outside for a few minutes and watch until they go. It takes months, to be honest. But, my 10 year-old and my 3 year-old pugs both go outside with no problems now.
