Okay I really am not trying to be rude but this completely through off my Latin I training. I do recall a quote like this but it was Veni, Vidi, Vici translating to I came, I saw, I conquered and Lord knows I don't know what I did with that book so I can't be sure but is anyone else familiar with the phrase in question?
Veni, vidi, vici - "I came, I saw, I conquered". Attributed to Julius Caesar. It also appears on the scroll of the Philip Morris (I refuse to call it Altria) coat-of-arms on packs of Marlboro cigarettes.
