To me, marriage isn't sacred because I don't consider anything sacred. I also don't think that divorce is such a big deal -- if you're not happy, I don't see the point of staying married. It's not good for you or the other person.
True...I guess "sacred" isn't really the right word. Maybe special or meaningful would have been better. The point I was making is that some judge a couple (who happens to be gay) for wanting to be married when they really love each other. Society turns a blind eye to the couples who use marriage to fit their own needs. We have no right to tell people whether or not they can be married. Or divorced.
