My best suggestions is to use the buses. They are about sixty cents a ride compared to $5 for a taxi. Be careful when ever you buy anything. They always start high or try and charge you for something that is free.
I would recommend buying the party pass. Some people don't like them b/c you have to go to certain clubs on certain nights, but in reality you usually hit each club on it's 'big' night and save money in the long run. Most clubs down there charge at least 25 cover and definitly be prepared to tip.
Go to Coco Bongo. Coolest club down there.
