who is going to spring break Cancun this year?? And if you have been there before, please give advice and recommendations!! thanks!!!

Went there last year.

My best suggestions is to use the buses. They are about sixty cents a ride compared to $5 for a taxi. Be careful when ever you buy anything. They always start high or try and charge you for something that is free.

I would recommend buying the party pass. Some people don't like them b/c you have to go to certain clubs on certain nights, but in reality you usually hit each club on it's 'big' night and save money in the long run. Most clubs down there charge at least 25 cover and definitly be prepared to tip.

Go to Coco Bongo. Coolest club down there.

usually there are "spring break" reps circuling around passing out info on hotel packages that set you up for the entire week. but those usually start circulating around January/Febuary... you may be too late for that.

What ever you do... don't bring anything valuable with you.

Don't worry about exchanging money- you get a better rate with USD and you only need pesos for the bus.
What hotel are you staying at? I can tell you pretty much anything you want to know.
I have a email I sent to a friend explaining all the clubs- I'll post that here later. Offhand, La Boom and Dady Rock/Dady O's draw the biggest crowds, with Pat O'Briens topping them with over 2500 people on Mardi Gras night.

I loved La Boom, you could do whatever you wanted to in that place and no one gave a F*ck. I remember two of my friends being passed out in G-hole on a table while the rest were blowin lines.....and nobody cared. I had sex with a girl in a bathroom all while people kept walking in.

You need to go to each place Jules said, they're all a lot of fun.

Nightlife:
La Boom: go there when it's Bikini night or Ladies night....PACKED. They play dance/trance/techno and its a huge place, its also attached to Tequila Boom which plays rap/hip hop.Both are usually packed and for the 30 USD cover you get into both places.

Fat Tuesday's: Good if you like sand and being outside. They hold massive beach parties and for like 10 USD you get a yard that they fill up for free the rest of the night. They usually have events during the day too.

Dady O's/Dady Rock/Top Dady: My personal fave. Dady Rock has live bands and plays rock music...Dady Rock is rated one of the 5 top clubs in the world and plays all techno/dance, the beautiful and rich go there (lots of people from overseas) and they're always packed...Top Dady is the bar on the roof, half of it is outdoors and it's very small, but they play hip hop and its good when you need a break or want to talk to someone...again pay one cover, get into all 3 places.

CocoBongo- some people like it but I think it's really gheyyyyy. They play a lot of 80's/showtunes...good for people that don't like to dance. WASTE OF TIME.

Senor Frogs--I guess you have to go to experience it...it can be fun but there's LOTS of high schoolers there, you feel kind of old...good if you just want to chill and hang out

Pat O'Briens- You HAVE to go for Mardi Gras (either tues or weds) last year they had 3000 people all over the place. Very very cool.

If you want to do snorkeling, aquaworld gives GREAT tours for 30 bucks, and they're only a couple hours long.

Eats: STAY AWAY FROM STREET VENDORS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT WHEN YOU'RE DONE PARTYING. You wouldn't eat that shit at home, don't do it down there either!

Cancun has a water purification system and so do most restaurants and hotels so don't worry about brushing your teeth or eating the ice. Please. But if you stray from Cancun and go on a tour or something, make sure you eat only things that are well cooked and drink bottled water.

They have McDonalds, Burger King, etc....but you can't go wrong with Domino's Pizza, which is fresh all the time.

YOU HAVE to go to La Isla for shopping- its a gorgeous outdoor mall. And if you are going to eat in a cafe/food court, definitely eat there...not expensive, and not sterotypical American chain restaurants.

Jules - what are good hotels to stay at?!?! I won't be down there for Spring Break - but i'm going this summer after graduation :D

Are you looking for party atmosphere, luxury, what? (Although the party thing will have significantly died down by then since all the breakers will be gone...)
For example, are you a Motel 6, fly by the seat of your pants kinda girl? Or a Holiday Inn, you know it'll be good.....or a lil luxurious, yet affordable, or the Ritz?

My friends want an all inclusive package, we are meeting up with two of our friends who are staying at the Solaris hotel, we may stay at the imperial or camino real, depending on budget, we are still checking around for good deals. Personally i dont care for all inclusive since i am a picky eater and just want to PARTY, i rarely party here in USA :( so I want to go everyday. what party package do you recommend? I am also thinking of swimming with dolphins......... but i realy want to tour cancun and see the pyramaids, ruins, whatever historical things........personally i wish i could rent a car and check out Mexico City. PM me with info please!!! Also let me know what places are good to eat!!! NOT american!! Also which clubs have foam party?? One problem is that all of us are deaf and we cant hear annoucement or radios or whatever........ so we are worried about missing the Special Events nights..........

One thing I can tell you is, you will NOT miss the ads for parties. Almost all advertising in Cancun is by banner attached to airplanes that fly over the beach- there are also TONS of ads/fliers passed out at the airports, malls, clubs. Don't worry, girl- if you can read this, you'll know where the parties are down there ;)

okay this is for sure, we will be staying at the hotel marina club in Cancun from 6th to the 12th. I have to fly back early morning cuz I got class in late afternoon.....

if it's anything like Cozumel- Carlos 'n Charlies. Very wild place, they'll smack your ass, grab your boobs, pour shots down your throat.

We went there for lunch and I saw several sets of boobs flashing. Crazy place!
