People think that since I have a degree in music I will know any song they ask me about. Someone at work asked who wrote this one-hit-wonder 50's song and when I didn't know got miffed...get a life!
Also, people tend to assume that I wouldn't know about anything BUT music. Most people are very surprised to find out that I am well-educated in MANY areas.
People think that since I am thin I must be really comfortable about my body. Let's put it this way - when I finally hit the C-cup in 8th grade, I wore sports bras to flatten my chest...so, no, we are not all satisfied or comfortable. Everyone has insecurities.
People up here assume that I hold certain political or social beliefs just because I am southern. Yes, I am Christian and southern, but that doesn't mean I believe that a woman's place is in the home or that gay people are going to hell!
