I think we're the only high school in the nation to have a
kewpie doll as a mascott... I wonder why
Apparently, like a hundred and some years ago when it was built, Hickman had a horrible basketball team and was getting raped by the other teams. During one of these games, a reporter stated that we were getting "crushed like kewpie dolls." Apparently we kept the name.
BUT.. Hickman is now known for its sports... Girls bball... #9 in the nation baby!
