Thats just a tad anal, not you being anal, but that the sense of social dissaproval would motivate you to do that.
And you can have sex in your letters . . why not? I am almost sure I have done so . . .

Suggestion:
When I graduated, I gave away most of my letters. The few that I loved and kept I took down to the local greek shop and had "Alumni" embroidered underneath the letters. Looks great, fairly inexpensive, and it could be a possible solution to the GC debate over what's appropriate and what's not.
