The Good: The men who started the private school in Harlem, those Mothers (they had me bawling, and on a long distance call--a close friend of mine was a victim of violence about a year ago), Donnie and Yolanda!!!, the overall classiness of the presentation. You KNOW that is rarely shown on television. Also, worth noting, Venus and Serena really looked nice.
The Bad: I really didn't see the point of P. Diddy/Puffy/whatever being there. Star did most of the talking...and with all the recent controversy surrounding him, I didn't think Essence wanted any parts in that.
The What The? (sorry, I had to add a special category) Lauryn looks like she's goin' through something. She looked like a 14 year old boy with her hair like that. Now, people with haircuts like that, don't start hating on me...I don't have a problem with the cut, but it just doesn't look good on Lauryn. Everyone can't rock it. I also don't know what to think of her song...
The Ugly: Hmmm...I really didn't see anything that was OUT THERE...I really didn't have a problem with Camille's dress! I just thought it was different!
Overall I loved the show!
