I could go on and on....Dubya (and no, I am not a closet Repub) was doing what all politicians do: photo op, plus we, the American taxpayers, got to pay for the side trip (read real reason) which was a major fundraiser while he was in the ATL.
He was in a no win situation either way. If he had not come, he would have been dogged out by black folks for joining only the ranks of Reagan in NOT putting a wreath on his grave. He goes, and folks are mad too.

Eclipse, you know that you are preaching to the congregation -- I am a registered independent voter (in Kollyfornia, we call them "decline to state.") I'm also offended by all of what you stated and repeat: We must get our own house in order. If we don't have a modicum of self-respect and end the nihilism, how do we expect others to respect us?
