You have absolutely nothing to feel guilty about. You did the right thing by telling your boyfriend what happened. You did his fraternity a huge favor by showing them "O" what a sleaze he is. It's enough that he will not be receiving a bid from your boyfriend's fraternity.
I agree with everyone else. that fighting never solves anything and could lead to assault charges if the police get involved. Instead your boyfriend could call around to the other fraternities and let them know about "O"'s behavior just in case "O" decides to rush somewhere else.
