I would have to say no! In some states, the state government actually helps those on welfare find jobs, take care of kids/family, help to learn how to manage their finances and such. Maybe all states should actually learn to do that!

One of my friends was actually really sick when she was pregnant and the father had died in march of 01 and her daughter wasn't born until july 01. She was hospitalized and couldn't work. She went on welfare and a couple of months after she had her daughter she went off welfare and found a job. Now, that I do admire--single parent who actually wants to make a life for herself and kid!

I have a sister who cries when I'm blue.
I know that she'll be there if ever I need her.
I know that our friendship is true.
