And, I think that he would make the bid as more of an activist Sharpton than president although that's not what is professed by those of his campaign. He wouldn't be able to get the funding from the Democratic party to go full scale. I do see him as a Lenora Fulani, running to get certain issues heard. Oh, how I appreciate the Third Party candidates for that alone.

As far as Sharpton being qualified, you all may know by now, that there aren't any iron qualifications except that you are a born citizen and above the age of 35. You can look at some of our previous presidents and even our current one to know that you don't have to have too much to run for president.

Let Al run. Let him do what political activists do...bring attention to everyday issues. The mere fact that he's having Cornell West do his exploratory work for me tells me that he wants to be taken seriously. Hair and suits aside, Rev. Sharpton may have some things for everyone to consider differently in our approach to politics in the 21st century.
Well said, Nikki25. If it came down to him and Dubaya, Al has my vote, hands down. Heck, he can't be worse than Jeb's brother. And I do agree that he will bring issues to the forefront to be heard. And that's better than nothing.

I do think the relaxer needs to go, though. That is some mess. Everytime I see him, I wonder, is he married? Is he, y'all? My husband couldn't walk around like that. Sorry. Get a fade.
