I was paying the car note on her car and driving it. She said she would handle the car note because she was getting that big lump sum. But instead, she gave the lawyers the impression she was paying the car note for 3 years.

Wall to wall carpeting is expensive, but she has three mortgages on her house. Damn she was watching the
Suze Orman Show (my recommendation) on how to handle your money. Suze always says pay off your debts first.
She could have used some of that money to pay off one of her mortgages. Now she is crying about how expensive her billls. The house looks good, but her financial situation is the same as it was last year.
