Now that i'm back in school, i've got more classes to add to my fave list!
My fave course this semester if my Reference course. Not only am I learning a lot, but the prof is really great and she's interesting.
e.g. today she showed 2 video clips o ne of a Kathernie Hepburn movie, "Desk Set" where she plays a librarian - the clip basically showed the stero-type of ref. librarians that still exists today
the otehr clip was from the cartoon "bob and margaret" (not sure if u get that in the U.S.) - Bob goes to the library and the librarian really is unhelpful and says there's no longer books in the library, just computers since"if it's not on the internet , you don't need to know it" lol...so funny, and to think there really are ppl who think that way!
so that's my new fave!
