Wow, working on that long term project with a member is a great opportunity for her to get to know you and visa versa. You're right, honesty is important. You do not have to tell her if you do not feel confortable yet. However, don't ever tell her an untruth if she asks you a direct question. It is sure to blow up in your face in the future. If it makes you feel uncomfortable and it is eating you up inside, tell her. Don't even let it stress you out. The thing is, many people did not make it their first time. It happens and it should be taken as a learning experience. If you were interested years ago, like myself, and you are still interested, I think that shows commitment and determination. I never submitted an application but I still feel your pain sisterfriend. Ask yourself these questions: Did you learn anything from that experience? What went wrong? If they are harder on you this time because you didn't make it the last time, are you prepared for the storm? Are you trying to learn as much history as possible so that, should you be questioned, you will shine? Can you use your knowledge to help another prospect that may be going through the same things now that you went through then? I'm no expert but that's my opinion. And my opinion comes straight from the heart.
