The first time I went to an alum panhel meeting here, I wrote my affiliation in Greek letters and the lady calling the roll said Alpha Epsilon Alpha. I wanted to fall through the floor.

ASA is REALLY strong in Missouri and Kansas - that's where (for the most part) all our oldest chapters are. Alpha Sigma Tau is kind of like that in PA - they were huge at my school, but a lot of people haven't heard of them either.

I know that in PA, it's like the state schools have one bunch of chapters, the private schools (like Lehigh, Bucknell etc) have another bunch, and Penn State and Pitt are mixed since they are the biggest.
