Considering I am in the CAL(Berkeley) area, I can tell you first hand, you will have MANY choices to pick from. NPC, NPHC, Asian Intrest, Latino Intrest, Multicultural, etc. I would really suggest waiting until spring before you jump into the sorority scene. The school alone has so much going on you'd really want to get settled before joining the mass hysteria of the CAL greek family. It would give you a chance to check out all the houses also.
