NPC groups usually expand to a campus one of two ways. Either they absorb a local group or they colonize and pick their own members. Kappa Gamma Delta has already started up, so if an NPC group decided to come to their school and absorb them, that group would want to know that Kappa Gamma Delta is healthy and that their members can make a go of it. That is the reason they might need to be around a while, but I don't know if that means 6 months, a year, or just what, and I don't know how many members they would think sufficient. I definitely think Kappa Gamma Delta should inquire of NPC exactly what might happen because some group might be interested in your school and work something out that you would be happy with.
