You know, my problem was never with anyone believing about the white after labor day thing. I was making a joke about it not being a problem anymore. My problem is where the person came in and called it unclassy.
I don't even wear anything below the belt white after labor day, and me saying the things about my socks, bras, and panties was just making a point about how ridiculus the unclassy comment was. If people wear white after labor day, I might think it's a "no-no" - but I certinaly wouldn't say OH MY! THAT GIRL ISN'T CLASSY!
I thought maybe me putting I am a dork at the bottom of the orignial post I quoted would help show my joking around - apparently some people just didn't pick that up.
Also, I only read the original post, and like on most threads with many replies, I only skim through the replies. I didn't see the part where she said her rush was mid-september. I'm sorry.
I didn't mean to cause any such drama with my joke. I feel bad now which makes me not really want to post anywhere else on greekchat anymore except for in the DG forum.
My main point: Classiness is all a matter of perspective, and if you base your opinion of class on a color - then traditionally I guess your favorite color should be purple.
The rule was not a problem to me, it was only the comment made about it.
