I love this show, too. The people are actually doing something entertaining where there's not so much drama. (Oh, there's drama, but it's more competitive because they are all surfers than just regular bitching I think. I dunno.)
I've never surfed, but when I was in like jr. high my family took a vacation to FL. Of course, surfing isn't all that great in FL anyway, but I was fascinated by it. We were there like a week, and I live in Ohio, so it wasn't like I could buy a board and surf. But I think it looks awesome. One of those "things to do before I die" things.
