Closed Chapters in CA:
Iota Sigma, USC
Eta Alpha, UC Berkley
Eta Delta, UCLA
Eta Theta, San Jose State
Eta Kappa, Humbolt State University
Eta Mu, UC-Davis
As you can see, the lack of California chapters isn't because we didn't give it a try! There has not been a new CA chapter since 1974 (UC-Davis), though.
And as lionlove said, the only active chapter in CA is at Fresno State. If you go to any of the above schools though, you could look into reopening. And if you aren't, it's still worth looking into- I'm sure the ladies at Fresno would love to have someone else join them for State Day
