Me too ST!! I remember that Whitney was always "the" black girl for all of their makeovers/makeup/hairstyle tips articles. There would be a blonde, brunette, readhead and Whitney with her little jheri curl!! I was like, dang...why the black girl gotta have a jheri curl?? Can't we get a little variety?!?!? A press -n- curl, perm, shoot even a natural (and jheri curls were about as natural as we got in the 80s)! LOL
