Ok, I will tell all of you guys the story of how I got hired at my current job. This will illustrate what a major bone head I can be every once in a while.
So, I applied on a Monday night.
and the next day, I got a phone call from a guy and I thought it was one of my friends playing a joke on me.
Guy: "Hell-el-el-el-o, is-s-s-s I-i-i-i-ii-vory there?
Me: :cracking the F up!: This is her. Boy, why you talking like that fo? :Lauging again:
Guy: I-i-i-i-i-i am from T-t-t-t-aco Mac.
Me: Bret, if is this you. I SWEAR! Cause I will kick your BLEEP BLEEP and I will Bleep Bleep
Guy: N-n-n-o, this is S-s-s-s-cott, a manager from T-t-t-t-t-aco Mac.
Me: :thinking "Oh sh*t!" "Oh, I am soooo sorry! I thought you were my friend....he likes to call me and joke around. not saying you calling is a joke. UM...."
Then the DUDE starts talking normally again! WTF??
Guy: "Can you come in for an interview tomorrow from 2-4 pm?"
Me: "Sure, I'll be there"
So I go to the interview and I notice he doesnt stutter when he is talking to me. ***SO I ask him "You don't talk like that right? I knew YOU WERE JOKING!!"***
"NO, I s-s-s-s-tutter sometimes"
As my face starts turing red and my eyes start to water, casue I was VERY VERY upset I just said what I did.
But he still hired my stupid A$$.....and we are pretty good friends. everyone made fun of me my first month there telling everyone how I got hired.....and they sometimes talk to me and start stuttering and crack up...THANKS GUYS!! sheesh
