I don't know that I'd feel 'threatened'. I'd probably love it if my girlfriend's eyes didn't glaze over when I mentioned football.. Or she wouldn't feel neglected when I was watching a football game. She tries to pretend she's interested but usually ends up trying to talk to me and becoming frustrated that I don't respond
