My mom is the same way. When I told her I would definetly need another semester to finish school, she asked me if my sport was my sorority ( both my brothers play college football and took an extra year to finish school b/c of it).

Almost everyone in my chapter is like this though. The few that aren't are sometimes considered weird.. not that there is anything wrong with that.
