I saw Shaft on Friday and found it to be very enjoyable particularly the actor who played Peoples. He took me back to New York with his portrayal. He was very funny. I also agree that many critics give black movies no play. The only one that I will listen to is Roger Ebert. Now this may sound silly but one of the main reasons is that he is married to a Black woman. So far every movie he's picked as a winner I have enjoyed. Well that is my 2 cents.
