I think Iraq would be a major world issue, but we would not have jumped into as agressive as a campaign as we did under Bush--simply because of Bush's cabinet. There are a lot of people there who were instrumental in Gulf War I--Rice, Powell, Cheney, etc. That's not saying that those people are hawks, they probably consider what's happening there a lot more urgent than another administration might.

I believe Gore would have focused, after 9/11, on domestic issues--protecting the environment, improving the dog-eared economy, maybe providing more, better, health care to the majority of Americans. That is not to say that that is better or worse than what is happening now--just different.
