LadyAKA, I understand what you are saying. I have subscriptions to Essence and Heart and Soul because they are targeted to us. I think "O" is different simply because it gives inspiration and motivation. Oprah has extended her talk show into the written word. So, if you like "change your life" tv, you just might like the magazine as well.
But if you only want a magazine that focuses on Black women, then this may disappoint you. I would suggest a subscription to Heart and Soul. I just got the most recent issue yesterday and it is the best one yet! I bet you'll love it!
