You
do not have to be a music major or minor to be a DO... in fact, I was not a major or minor, nor were many girls in my chapter. It is required that you take at least one music class and I think that you need a GPA in any music classes you take to be a 2.5 or higher. Other than that, all that is required is a love of music.
I thought that we had a lot more active chapters than 46... I don't know the number off hand, but I can find out.
I have never heard that DO's mascot is a Frog!!! That may be something new or a local thing, but it doesn't really make sense in the grander scheme of things...interesting!!
If you have any questions please PM me!! A lot of people think that we are a sorority only for music majors or minors, and we lose a lot of great girls that way. I'd love to help dispell some of those myths!
