Dominion i know it is fustrating to have people throw you and your sorority into a negative pool of stereotypes. I don't know who first started perpetuating these stereotypes about our sororities, but i know that they have stuck like glue. We all know that each organization has a VARIETY of women, all shades, shapes, sizes and attitudes. People have told me that because i'm a darker sister that i should pledge Delta. Others say due to my femininity that i should pledge AKA. And unfortunately many members of our sororities choose to continue to perpetuate those stereotypes. People love to mistake Confidence for Concieted thus AKA's are branded Stuck Up. Which is not fair. However i know some of my Sorors are Concieted, I won't lie. And I know some Delta's that are ghetto and some that are very Classy. People are going to think what they want about Greeks and all we can do about it is set an individual example and work hard to improve our organizations. So for me i am proud to be an AKA Woman and I refuse to walk around this earth with my head hanging dn just so people won't call me Stuck Up. I will walk with my head high looking straight ahead and when i see my Pretty Sorors i will throw up my Pinky with Pride and give a big SKEEEEEEEEWEEEEEEEEEE...
