It's not Christmas for me this year because my father passed away on Mother's Day and my mom wants to be left alone. So, I'm here....at work.....
BUT, I'm going out with 2 of my friends later today to hand out homemade dinners to the homeless. It's the least I can do. They say the best way to feel better is to make someone else feel better. I don't want to wallow in self pity, so I'd rather take the focus out of my head and put my energy towards brightening someone else's day, even if it's a sandwich and coffee....
