We just had our 11th annual Margaritaville party last month.
The pledges cut bamboo all semester and use rope to tie it together into panels, which are used to decorate the house or the bar that we rent out.
Everyone comes in tropical gear, and guys pass out leis the entire night. Usually we get a deal with the bar owner to give us drink specials on margaritas, ususally margaritas for a dollar.
Guys get to invite whomever they want, so it's more like a crush party, but members are allowed to invite their guy friends or potential rushees.
