The purpose of science is solely for the pursuit of knowledge-- to no end.
The question is not whether or not this type of research has a valuable purpose, because it does not need one. My question is, with the problems we already have with over-population do we need anymore people right now?
Also, what is the point of cloning humans? Clones are exact replicas in every way-- except personality, and reason-the types of things that we typically use to separate the quality of human life from instincts in animals. And, if you are a clone of someone who has lived before you, how good can your quality of life be if you have to forever live in the shadow of someone else? Are you,
