Most of the times you will still have a few very light periods at the beginning (from what I've heard). But if a woman were to experience a period in the middle or end of her pregnancy, she'd want to get to a doctor right away and have it checked out. My friend had a coworker have this happen to her and she ended up being okay~ just a little freaked out though. So I guess there is a little proof that you can have a slight period and still be pregnant.
